Whistle stop visit at the Murrelektronik exhibition stand

High-level political visit at the Murrelektronik booth at the Hannover trade fair: Günther Oettinger, EU Commissioner for Budget and Personnel, and Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Economics Minister of Baden-Württemberg, were informed by the automation specialist from Oppenweiler about new paths toward Industry 4.0.

In their visits to the Murrelektronik fair booth, Mr. Oettinger and Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut gained a sense of the innovative spirit of the international company based in Oppenweiler, which has been a regular guest at the world's largest industrial fair for many years.

Günther Oettinger was impressed with how the innovative products and well thought-out approaches by the automation specialist prepare the path for Industry 4.0 and digital production. The cutting-edge components equipped with innovative functions and high-performance interfaces contribute to increased modularization and flexibility in production.

Economics Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut had a very favorable opinion of Murrelektronik's global presence. The company has subsidiaries or sales partners on every continent. Since early April, it has also established a presence in India.
